Sandeep Tandon is head of Tandon Group, a technology catalyst that owns several successful businesses and provides resources to up-and-coming startups in India and North America
In addition to his role at Tandon Group, Sandeep is co-founder of FreeCharge, chairman of Infinx Healthcare and director at Syrma Technology.
Sandeep has been actively involved in the technology industry for more than 20 years in a career spanning across California and Mumbai. His major contributions include the growth of technology exports from India and more recently serving as a mentor to many startup entrepreneurs, advisor to venture capital investors, and as an angel investor himself.
Sandeep started his career as an applications engineer for US-based startup in Los Angeles before starting his own information technology services business that was successfully sold in 2000. He then moved back to India to oversee operations at Celetronix until 2006, when the company was successfully sold to Jabil Circuits
Post 2006, Sandeep co-founded Accelyst Solutions Private Limited (parent of FreeCharge and PaisaBack), which was sold to SnapDeal in India’s largest M&A internet deal.
Sandeep attended the University of Southern California, receiving his bachelor and masters degrees in engineering. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a past Chairman of the Electronics Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs reach their potential.
Sandeep resides in Mumbai with his family, frequently mentoring tomorrow’s leaders.
